"Odyssey, a journey in hyper reality - The library of which you are the hero" is back at the Humanist Library.
The opportunity for the public to live a real experience in virtual reality, hybridization of an escape game and a video game. Participants progress through 5 worlds drawn from 4 books and an object belonging to the Humanist Library. Each atmosphere is carefully reconstructed. Find 6 keys hidden in one of the rooms of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle in 1945, create a footbridge aboard the legendary Trojan horse or even shoot a flaming arrow at a longship to perform a Viking ritual: so many challenges that offer players, or more precisely to their avatar, the possibility of sharing an extraordinary adventure.
All summer and until autumn, the Humanist Library will allow you to live a unique experience, in which virtual reality becomes a tool for the mediation of historical knowledge combining emotion, discovery and learning.
